1. What BolHisab's AI does

  • Interprets what you type or say into a proposed transaction (sale, purchase, expense, payment and so on).
  • Reads bills, receipts and invoices into editable fields.
  • Suggests expense categories and flags possible mistakes, duplicates and unusual entries.
  • Answers questions about your business using figures from your own books, and writes summaries, briefings, reminders and forecasts.
  • Helps with compliance tasks such as checking an invoice for missing GSTIN or HSN details.

2. How it is controlled

For anything that changes your books, the flow is:

  1. AI suggestion — the model proposes structured data.
  2. Validation — our software checks it (parties, accounts, amounts, GST rules) and never guesses an ambiguous customer or supplier.
  3. Your confirmation — you review a card showing exactly what will be recorded.
  4. Accounting engine — our deterministic double-entry engine computes amounts and GST and posts the entry, with an audit trail.

The AI does not run database queries, does not write accounting records itself, does not calculate final balances or tax, and cannot skip your confirmation. Read-only answers use a fixed set of report functions.

3. Limits

AI can misunderstand speech, misread a blurred document or suggest the wrong category. Always review what is shown before confirming, and check important figures. AI output is not professional advice and does not replace a chartered accountant, tax practitioner or lawyer.

4. Your data

Inputs are sent to configured AI providers only to produce a result. Details are in the Privacy Policy and on the Subprocessors page.
