CA Partner Terms
- Last updated:

- Policy version:
- 2026-10-01
- Effective:
- 1 October 2026
1. Scope
These terms apply, in addition to the Terms of Service, to chartered accountants, firms and their staff (“Firm”) using the BolHisab CA Partner portal. BolHisab is not affiliated with, approved by or endorsed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
2. Clients and access
- External clients: you may add clients who do not use BolHisab, upload their documents and import their data into a workspace. You confirm you are authorised by the client to do so.
- BolHisab clients: you can view a business's books only after its owner approves your request. Access is read-only, may be time-limited, and the owner can revoke it at any time.
- Client portal: you may invite clients to upload documents and see requests, tasks, messages and reports you share. See the Client Portal Terms.
- Staff: you control which staff members can see which clients and what they can do. You are responsible for your staff's use of the portal.
3. Your responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and comply with your professional obligations, engagement terms and applicable law, including data protection law for your clients' personal data.
- Upload only documents you are entitled to hold. Do not upload malicious files.
- Review AI reviews, summaries and drafted messages before relying on them or sending them; they are aids, not professional opinions.
- Remove access for staff who leave your firm.
4. Data, vault and audit
Documents in the vault are encrypted at rest. Views, uploads, downloads, shares, exports, AI queries and permission changes are recorded in an audit log available to your firm and to BolHisab administrators. For client data you upload, your firm decides the purpose and BolHisab processes it on your behalf; see the Privacy Policy.
5. Fees, suspension and closure
The CA Partner portal is currently provided free of charge; we will give notice before introducing any fee. We may suspend a firm for breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. On closure, access by your firm ends; clients' own BolHisab books remain with those businesses. Contact: [LEGAL CONTACT EMAIL].
